The Guides platform uses the following core concepts for organizing information and people:

Guides: Guides (which you're looking at now) are live, interactive, multimedia documents that can be published and shared. People can "subscribe" to guides by saving them in their personal account, or by adding them to a channel within a network.

Channel: A channel contains guides that are either native to the channel (they were created there) or guides that are subscribed to. Channels help organize guides and enable you to set permissions on who can access guides and how they are able to interact with them.  They are similar to folders, except guides can be in multiple channels at the same time.

Hubs: Channels belong to a team "hub", a parent account for all channels, guides, and members.
